FCAA is proud of our three existing Chapters and we look forward to establishing additional chapters this Fall and twice each year into the future.  Our goal is to eventually have a Chapter in every state!  For more information regarding the activities occurring within our existing Chapters, click on the links below

            Arizona Chapter-      coming soon!

This Fall we will be publishing the next opportunity for establishing an FCAA Chapter in new states!  The process includes an application and the commitment of at least 8 members of FCAA in your state who are interested in leading the process.  Benefits of FCAA Chapter status include:

  • Visibility and credibility that comes with being part of the national network of Chapters and Affiliates
  • Access to established structures and policies for building and maintaining your Chapter
  • Support for the development and implementation of local campaigns and initiatives
  • Support for member recruitment and retention, strategic planning, public relations, financial management and fundraising
  • Access to communications tools including Chapter website, email address, phone number, outreach materials
  • Heightened awareness through receipt of chapter-targeted communications and supports
  • Eligibility for grants and tax-deductible donations under FCAA’s 501(c)(3) status
  • Discounts on merchandise in the FCAA store (coming soon!)

Learn more about the structures and policies of our chapters by looking at the following:

Chapter Charter:  This is the document that would be executed by 3 elected chapter officers and the chair of the FCAA Board of Directors following the Board’s ratification of a group as an FCAA Chapter.  This document formalizes the group’s intent and pledge to the mission and vision of FCAA and to adhering to FCAA requirements.

Chapter Articles of Organization:  This is the unified organizing document required by our 501(C)(3) status that we must submit outlining the chapter’s purposes, affiliation as a subordinate chapter of the organization, and requirements of the chapter.  The Articles are broad enough to encompass changes within policies and procedures as our chapter network evolves.

Chapter Policies and Procedures:  The policies and procedures contain a great deal of overlap with the Articles of Organization as these outline more specifically the requirements for chapters.  The policies and procedures will become more refined over time as our chapter network grows and the organization (including and especially our chapters) determines specific needs.

If you live in one of the areas where we have Chapter groups and you’d like to get involved, email or call us and we’ll share your information with the group.
